Pelu Nido #2 — Cotton is a small handwoven rug whose shape is inspired by the outline of Momostenango, a place with a long-standing tradition of weaving rugs and blankets. The nest-like form reflects the connection between the landscape of the town and its deeply rooted textile culture.
The design combines flatweaving and hand-knotting, creating a more compact woven centre surrounded by a soft, irregular texture. Woven from 100% raw cotton on a traditional foot-loom by Mayan weavers in Guatemala, the rug has a tactile, organic character that comes directly from the handmade process.
Each rug is individually made, so slight variations in texture, colour and dimensions are inherent to the process and make every piece unique.

If you decide to refuse any shipments from www.queondavos.eu, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to QUE ONDA VOS.
