Sueño Nido Throw

Sueño Nido is a wool throw, handwoven on a traditional foot-loom using 100% hand-spun sheep wool. Its irregular pattern gives the piece a rich, organic character, a testament to the craft, patience, and time that go into every weave.

After weaving, each throw is felted and then carefully hand-combed with a comb made from dried thistles. This traditional finishing technique softens the wool fibres and gives the textile its warm touch.

Designed by Hanne de Wyngaert and brought to life by Mayan weavers in Guatemala, each rug supports centuries-old artisanal tradition. By working directly with indigenous communities, we aim to provide fair economic opportunities while creating pieces that are both beautiful and functional.
